Occupational Therapy (both divisions)

Occupational therapy is a goal-oriented, client-centered form of therapy. It is well established as an important therapy option and is typically greatly appreciated by patients.

Occupational therapists are specialized in rehabilitating and supporting relationships and skills necessary for achieving greatest possible independence and quality of life.

After a physician’s referral and an initial consultation, individual treatment goals for the therapy program are agreed upon with the patient. Our therapy utilizes specialized occupational therapy activities with a focus on creative, craft, and artistic activities. We utilized a variety of materials and techniques in well-equipped therapy rooms in order to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for the patients.

Depending on the patient’s goals, the focus of the therapy may constitute structuring everyday life, promoting creativity, concentration and perseverance, or processing of emotions.

According to our client-centered approach, individually adapted activities are used in a targeted manner.

A team consisting of 6 occupational therapists provides care for both of the Department’s clinical divisions.
