Information for patients with schizophrenia or mania

The Clinical Division of General Psychiatry is currently performing a clinical study which aims to test the efficacy of an add-on to antipsychotic treatment which may prevent weight-gain. You may be eligible to participate in our study if:

  • you have suffered from schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or mania within the last 14 days
  • you are between 18 and 40 years of age
  • your BMI is ≤ 30
  • you have no other severe disorders
  • you do not suffer from a substance use disorder
  • you are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding
